In 2010, I was in Mexico City on a business trip during the heat of summer. With a 14-hour day ahead of me, I knew my feet wouldn’t last in my Dries van Noten heels without some sort of savior-in-a-bottle to keep them from becoming blistered as the long day ran long. Determined that my feet survive the day unscathed, I mixed together a few items from my beauty bag, swiped it on the most vulnerable parts of my feet, slipped them into my beautiful shoes and headed out. Little did I know that the seemingly random concoction I conjured up in that hotel bathroom would lead me to inventing what would become one of Rachel Zoe’s “Must-Haves” for summer.

Polly Foot Primer was born.
It took less than a year from that fateful Mexico City trip for Polly to sit on the shelves of boutique shoe stores on the West Coast, to be featured in Marie Claire and Elle Canada Magazine, named to the “must-have” lists of over 50 fashion and beauty influencers around the world and get a special spot in a Target.com pop-up.

To help consumers better understand the benefits of Polly, I directed a point of sale animation that played on a loop with each retail display.
Polly is currently on a break from sales but hopes to make a big come back soon. After all, we all heart Polly!
